How much does the Air 3 cost?
The Air 3 starts at $1,209 for the standard kit. The Fly More Combo is $1,484 and adds aircraft, rc-n2, 3 batteries, charging hub, shoulder bag. See current price and stock.
How long does the Air 3 fly?
DJI rates the Air 3 at 46 minutes per battery in calm conditions. Expect roughly 37–39 minutes of real flying, since you land with some battery left and wind shortens flights. With the three batteries in the Fly More Combo, that's about 138 rated minutes per outing.
What's the Air 3's range?
The video link reaches up to 12.4 mi under ideal, interference-free conditions (FCC). In the US you must keep the drone within your own visual line of sight, so in practice you'll fly much closer than that. The long range mainly means a stronger, more stable video signal.
Do you need to register the Air 3?
At 720 g it's over 250 g, so it must be registered with the FAA ($5, valid 3 years) and broadcast Remote ID, which is built in. Our FAA registration guide walks through it.
