The DJI AL1 Spotlight and DJI AS1 Speaker are DJI's add-on light and loudspeaker for the Matrice 4 series, including the Matrice 4T and Matrice 4E. The AL1 lights a target up to 100 m away, with a beam that tilts with the gimbal so it lights what the camera sees. The AS1 broadcasts voice, recordings or text-to-speech at up to 114 dB, with an effective range of 300 m. Both mount with quick-release, hand-tightened screws and can be used alone or together.

AL1 Spotlight
| Spec | AL1 Spotlight |
|---|---|
| Weight | 99 g with bracket (about 91 g without) |
| Max power | 32 W |
| Illuminance | 17 ±0.2 lux at 50 m; 4.3 ±0.2 lux at 100 m |
| Beam angle | 23° |
| Lit area at 100 m | 1,300 m² (Normal), 2,200 m² (Wide FOV mode) |
| Modes | Always-on, strobe, Wide FOV |

Gimbal sync is the main feature. As you tilt the camera, the light follows, with DJI rating alignment accuracy at ±0.1°. You don't have to aim the light separately while you search.
Strobe mode draws attention, warns people on the ground, or marks the drone's position.
AS1 Speaker
| Spec | AS1 Speaker |
|---|---|

| Max power | 15 W |

| Effective broadcast distance | 300 m |
| Functions | Text-to-speech, recorded messages, imported audio, live broadcast with echo suppression |
Use it to give directions to a lost hiker, warn people away from a hazard, or tell a crowd where to go. Pre-record common messages before a mission so you can play them with one tap.
How public safety and inspection teams use them
- Search and rescue at night. Find a heat signature with the 4T's 640 × 512 thermal camera, then light the spot with the AL1 so ground teams can see it, and talk to the person through the AS1.
- Police and fire scenes. Light a perimeter, broadcast instructions, and keep crews out of danger.
- Water rescue. Mark a swimmer's position with the beam while boats close in.
- Night inspection. Light a specific component on a structure for a visual check with the zoom cameras.
The Matrice 4T's built-in NIR light
Don't confuse the AL1 with the 4T's built-in NIR auxiliary light. The NIR light helps the 4T's cameras see in low light but isn't meant to light a scene for people on the ground. The AL1 is a visible spotlight that people can see.
Things to know before you fly
- Flight performance. DJI warns that mounting the spotlight affects propulsion and the vision system, so fly with extra care and expect shorter flight times with accessories fitted.
- Not weatherproof. The Matrice 4 series has no IP rating. Don't fly in rain.
- Night rules. Under Part 107, night flights need anti-collision lighting visible for 3 statute miles. A spotlight doesn't replace that strobe.
- Brightness and people. Don't shine the beam into drivers' or pilots' eyes.
Which drone do they fit?
The AL1 and AS1 are made for the DJI Matrice 4 series: the Matrice 4T thermal model and the Matrice 4E mapping model. They aren't listed for the Mavic 3 Enterprise, which uses its own speaker accessory.
