The DJI Neo is a palm-launched selfie and vlog drone, not a traditional stick-flying drone. Here are the answers to the questions people search most: price, weight, battery life, range and whether you need to register it.

How much does the Neo cost?
The Neo starts at $186 for the standard kit. The Fly More Combo is $411 and adds aircraft, rc-n3, 3 batteries, two-way charging hub. See current price and stock.
How long does the Neo fly?
DJI rates the Neo at 18 minutes per battery in calm conditions. Expect roughly 14–15 minutes of real flying, since you land with some battery left and wind shortens flights. With the three batteries in the Fly More Combo, that's about 54 rated minutes per outing.
What's the Neo's range?
The video link reaches up to 50 m (phone), 10 km (Goggles N3, FCC) under ideal, interference-free conditions (FCC). In the US you must keep the drone within your own visual line of sight, so in practice you'll fly much closer than that. The long range mainly means a stronger, more stable video signal.
Do you need to register the Neo?
At 135 g it's under 250 g, so you don't need to register it with the FAA for recreational flying. If you fly it for business under Part 107, you must register it. Our FAA registration guide walks through it.
Who is it for?
