No. The DJI Air 3S doesn't work with DJI Goggles 3, Goggles N3, Goggles 2 or Goggles Integra, or with the RC Motion controllers. DJI lists only standard remote controllers for it: the RC-N3, RC-N2, DJI RC 2 and, since later firmware, the RC Pro 2. If goggles matter to you, the older Air 3 supports Goggles 3 with the RC Motion 3.

What DJI supports on the Air 3S
| Device | Works with Air 3S? |
|---|---|
| DJI RC-N3, RC-N2 | Yes |
| DJI RC 2 | Yes |
| DJI RC Pro 2 | Yes |
| DJI Goggles 3 | No |
| DJI Goggles N3 | No |
| DJI Goggles 2 / Integra | No |
| RC Motion 2 / RC Motion 3 | No |
DJI's Air 3S FAQ names the RC-N3, RC-N2 and RC 2, and the July 2026 release notes add firmware for the RC Pro 2. None of the Air 3S release notes through July 30, 2026 mention goggles. If that changes, it will appear in the release notes on the Air 3S downloads page. Until then, assume goggles won't work.
Which DJI drones work with goggles?
| Drone | Goggles 3 | Goggles N3 |
|---|---|---|
| Air 3 | Yes (also Goggles 2 and Integra) | No |
| Mini 4 Pro | Yes | No |
| Avata 2 | Yes | Yes |
| Neo | Yes | Yes |
| Air 3S, Mini 5 Pro, Mavic 4 Pro, Flip | No | No |
Full list in DJI goggles compatibility. On the Air 3, goggles flying has limits: single 12 MP photos, video at 4K/60 or 1080p/60, and no waypoints or QuickShots. See Air 3 goggles.
Your options if you want FPV
- Pick the Air 3 instead. Same 70 mm second camera, 46-minute flights, and it works with Goggles 3. You give up the Air 3S's 1-inch sensor and forward LiDAR. Both cost $1,209 for the standard kit with us. See Air 3 vs Air 3S.
- Add a dedicated FPV drone. The Avata 2 is a different, more immersive kind of flying, with built-in prop guards. Our standard kit ($934) includes Goggles 3 and the RC Motion 3. See Avata 2 vs Air 3S.
- Use a bigger screen. The RC Pro 2 has a 7-inch, 2,000-nit display, which is the closest thing to an immersive view on the Air 3S. It costs $1,209 with us.
Which controller to use instead
| Controller | Screen | Our price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| RC-N3 | Your phone | $142 | Lowest cost |
| DJI RC 2 | 5.5-inch, 700 nits | $406 | Most pilots, no phone needed |
| RC Pro 2 | 7-inch, 2,000 nits | $1,209 | Bright sun, pro work |
The Air 3S standard kit includes the RC-N3, and the Fly More Combo includes the DJI RC 2.
A note on FAA rules
Even with drones that support goggles, US rules require visual line of sight. A pilot wearing goggles needs a visual observer next to them watching the drone. The Air 3S weighs 724 g, so register it and fly with Remote ID on. See drone no-fly zones for other limits.
Common mistakes
- Assuming Air 3 support carries over. The Air 3 and Air 3S share a name but not goggles support.
- Buying goggles for a future update. DJI hasn't announced one. Buy for what works today.
Quick answers
Can I stream the Air 3S view to goggles another way? Not with DJI goggles. DJI's supported controllers are the only way to see the live view.
Does the Air 3S work with the RC Motion 3 without goggles? No. The RC Motion 3 only works as part of a goggles setup, and the Air 3S supports neither.
Is the Air 3 still worth buying for goggles? If immersive flying matters and you want a two-camera drone, yes. If image quality matters more, get the Air 3S and add an Avata 2 later.
Rules current as of October 2026. This is general information, not legal advice.
Want the best camera in the Air line regardless of goggles? Get the DJI Air 3S and pair it with an RC 2.
