Do DJI Goggles 3 work with analog FPV?

UPDATED OCTOBER 2026

No. DJI Goggles 3 don't work with analog FPV. DJI's FAQ states plainly that analog video isn't supported, and the goggles have no module bay for an analog receiver and no HDMI or AV input to plug one into. They only receive DJI's own digital video from compatible drones and the O3 and O4 Air Units.

DJI's Goggles 3 FAQ says analog isn't supported. The goggles only receive DJI digital video from compatible drones and air units.

Why there's no analog adapter

Goggles 3 have a microSD slot and USB-C ports. DJI uses USB-C for charging, phone and computer connection, firmware updates and USB-C headphones, not for video input. The FAQ also confirms there's no direct HDMI input or output.

DJI doesn't make or list any analog adapter for Goggles 3. If you see one advertised, check whether it's meant for a different headset before buying, and expect no support from DJI.

Options if you fly analog

Keep a second pair of goggles. Many pilots keep analog box or slim goggles for analog quads and a DJI headset for digital builds. It's the simplest answer if you have a fleet of analog whoops.

Convert the quad to DJI digital. The DJI O4 Air Unit weighs about 8.2 g with its camera, takes 3.7 to 13.2 V, and fits many small builds that used to run analog. You get 1080p live view in the goggles and 4K recording on the air unit. Flight controller OSD works through Betaflight's MSP DisplayPort. See Goggles 3 OSD with Betaflight.

Use watching modes instead. If you want analog only so friends can watch, Goggles 3 can broadcast your feed to other Goggles 3 nearby, or share it to a phone. See stream Goggles 3 to a phone.

Analog vs digital in one line

Analog is cheap, light and has very low latency, but the image is low resolution and noisy. DJI digital is much clearer and records to the goggles' SD card, at the cost of weight and price. More in analog vs digital FPV.
