A DJI Mavic 3 Pro that won't connect usually just needs re-pairing: in DJI Fly, tap Control > Connect to Aircraft, then hold the drone's power button for more than four seconds. On the DJI RC Pro you can also press C1, C2 and Record together to start pairing. For "no network connection" or "account not logged in," connect the controller to Wi-Fi and log in to DJI Fly.

Pair the drone and controller
From DJI's Mavic 3 Pro manual:
- Power on the aircraft and controller. Keep them within 0.5 m (about 1.5 ft). Remove the gimbal protector first.
- Start pairing on the controller:
- DJI RC Pro: press C1, C2 and Record at the same time until the status LED blinks blue and it beeps, or use DJI Fly.
- DJI RC (or RC Pro): in DJI Fly camera view, open settings and tap Control > Connect to Aircraft.
- Press and hold the aircraft's power button for more than four seconds. It gives a short beep, then two beeps, and its battery LEDs blink in sequence.
- The controller beeps twice and its status LED turns solid green when linked.
Linking a new controller unlinks the old one. Still failing? See DJI drone not connecting to controller.
"No network connection" or "account not logged in"
The DJI RC and DJI RC Pro connect to the internet over Wi-Fi, which you need for activation, firmware updates, GEO zone unlocks and maps.
- In DJI Fly, slide down twice from the top of the screen to open Quick Settings (once if you're outside DJI Fly).
- Tap the Wi-Fi icon to turn it on, or hold it to open settings and join a network. A phone hotspot works.
- Return to DJI Fly and log in under the profile tab.
Don't skip the login. DJI's manual notes that for safety, flight is restricted to 30 m (98.4 ft) height and 50 m (164 ft) range when the drone isn't connected to or logged into the app. See DJI account not logged in.
DJI also recommends turning off the controller's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth during flight for the best video link, so switch Wi-Fi off once you're done updating.
Phone won't connect
- To fly: the DJI RC and RC Pro have DJI Fly built in. If you use an RC-N1 with a phone instead, use a data-capable cable and the latest DJI Fly. See RC not connected to mobile device.
- To download files: use QuickTransfer. Turn on Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and location on your phone, power on the drone, open DJI Fly and tap Connect. The first time, hold the aircraft's power button for two seconds. DJI rates it at up to 80 MB/s with a Wi-Fi 6 phone on 5.8 GHz, or 10 MB/s on 2.4 GHz.
Still not connecting
Update all firmware, or refresh it with DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series), and pair again. If the drone never beeps into pairing mode, or video drops constantly, see drone keeps losing signal or start a repair. More on the drone is in the Mavic 3 Pro guide.
