Overview
About the RS 3 Mini
DJI RS 3 Mini is a compact three-axis gimbal for mirrorless cameras. At 795 g it is light enough to carry all day, yet it handles common setups like a Sony A7 with a 24-70mm F2.8 GM lens. It is a good fit for solo shooters who want smooth handheld video without a heavy rig.
Highlights
- Tested payload from 0.4 to 2 kg
- Native vertical shooting for social video
- 3rd-gen RS stabilization algorithm from the RS 3 series
- Up to 10 hours of battery life, charges in about 2.5 hours
- Bluetooth shutter control and a 1.4-inch color touchscreen
Who it's for
Vloggers, wedding and event shooters, and content creators using mirrorless cameras with small to mid-size lenses. It is also a sensible first gimbal if you are moving up from a phone stabilizer. Check DJI's camera and lens compatibility list before buying if you run a heavier setup.
