Overview
About the RS 4
DJI RS 4 is a 3-axis gimbal for mirrorless cameras and small cinema rigs. It carries up to 3 kg, runs up to 12 hours on its grip, and sets up fast. Automated axis locks and second-generation native vertical shooting cut the time between shots.
Highlights
- 3 kg (6.6 lb) tested payload
- Gimbal about 1066 g, BG21 grip about 203 g
- Up to 12 hours of runtime, about 2.5 hours to charge with an 18W charger
- Automated axis locks to wake and sleep quickly
- Teflon coating on all three axes for smoother balancing
- OLED touchscreen and Bluetooth camera control for shutter and zoom
Who it's for
Solo shooters and small crews using mirrorless cameras with standard and mid-size lenses. It's a good fit for weddings, events, commercials, social video and anyone who switches between horizontal and vertical often. Choose RS 4 Pro instead if you run heavy cinema rigs.
