Is DJI Care Refresh still available in the US?

UPDATED OCTOBER 2026

Yes. DJI Care Refresh is still available in the US for many drones and cameras, such as the Mini 4 Pro, Air 3S, Avata 2 and Osmo Pocket 3. Coverage and prices vary by model, and plans generally have to be bought in the same country as the drone. For a specific model, such as the Mini 5 Pro or Mavic 4 Pro that DJI never officially launched here, check DJI's Care Refresh page or ask us.

Can you get Care Refresh in the US?
Care Refresh is still sold in the US for many models. Coverage and prices vary by model, and drones bought abroad generally can't get US plans.

Which drones can get it

DJI's US Care Refresh page doesn't list availability model by model, and its notes say some benefits, such as flyaway coverage and the 2-year plan, are only for select products. So check your exact model before you count on a plan. Be careful with store pages that say a plan is "not available in your region": that can reflect where the page was loaded from, not the US.

DJI's terms add a firm limit: Care Refresh and the product must be bought in the same country or region. For most products, service is only available in the country where you bought the plan. A drone bought overseas, or a plan bought overseas, usually won't be serviced here.

Which plans we carry

Plan Our price
Care Refresh 1-Year, Mini 4 Pro $98
Care Refresh 1-Year, Air 3S $164
Care Refresh 1-Year, Avata 2 $76

We also carry plans for the Mavic 3 Pro and Osmo Pocket 3.

What the 1-year plan includes

  • Two replacements in one year, each for a service fee set by DJI.
  • Flyaway coverage, usable once, if the drone is bound to your DJI account and linked to its controller.
  • Coverage for crashes and water damage.
  • Free two-way shipping on replacements.

The 48-hour rule

Buy Care Refresh when you buy the drone, or within 48 hours of activating it. After that, DJI asks for a video verification of the drone before the plan can be added. Full details are on our DJI Care Refresh guide.

Does the ban end Care Refresh for my drone?

No. The FCC action blocks new product authorizations; it doesn't cancel existing plans or warranty service. If you already have a plan, file claims through DJI support as usual. Read DJI parts and repairs after the ban for how service works now.

If your drone can't get Care Refresh

Current as of October 2026. Coverage, fees and eligibility are set by DJI. Check DJI's Care Refresh FAQ for your model.
