DJI Mic Mini firmware updates through the DJI Mimo app. On Android, attach the receiver to the phone with the adapter (transmitters linked), open DJI Mimo, tap About Device, then tap the firmware version to download and install. On iPhone, connect each transmitter and the receiver to DJI Mimo over Bluetooth separately and do the same. The latest version listed by DJI is V02.03.17.00, released April 21, 2026.

The Mic Mini app
The app for Mic Mini is DJI Mimo. Once connected, it shows connected devices and battery levels, and lets you change settings like noise cancelling level, low cut, auto off and camera power sync, as well as update firmware.
Update on Android (via the adapter)
- Make sure the transmitters and receiver are linked.
- Attach the receiver to the phone with the USB-C adapter.
- Open DJI Mimo. Go to the device page and tap About Device.
- Tap the firmware version to download and install the update.
Update on iPhone (via Bluetooth)
DJI says to disconnect the adapter on iOS and update over Bluetooth.
Transmitter:
- Hold the transmitter's link button for two seconds and pair it in the iPhone's Bluetooth settings as DJI Mic Mini-XXXXXX.
- Open DJI Mimo. It finds the transmitter; tap to connect.
- Tap About Device, then tap the firmware version.
Receiver (iOS only over Bluetooth):
- With the receiver off, hold its power button for six seconds. The LED blinks green, then blue slowly.
- Open DJI Mimo and tap the receiver to connect.
- Tap About Device, then the firmware version.
Repeat for the second transmitter. While updating, the device's status LED is solid yellow.

Before you update
- Charge the transmitters and receiver.
- Update the DJI Mimo app first.
- Update every unit so the transmitters and receiver run matching firmware. DJI also recommends updating before first use.
Update problems
- Device not found in Mimo: turn the phone's Bluetooth off and on, check the transmitter LED is blinking for pairing, and keep it close to the phone.
- iPhone won't update by adapter: that's expected. Use Bluetooth on iOS.
- Receiver not found on iPhone: start with it powered off and hold the power button the full six seconds.
- Update fails: restart the mic and the app, and try again with a stable internet connection.
- Units stop linking after an update: put everything in the charging case to relink. See how to pair DJI Mic Mini.
DJI Mic 2 is different
The Mic 2 doesn't use DJI Mimo for updates. You copy a firmware file to each unit from a computer. See Mic 2 firmware update.
