A DJI Mavic 3 Classic that won't turn on usually has a battery that's flat, in hibernation, or too hot or cold to charge. Put the battery in the drone, connect a 65W or stronger USB PD charger to the drone with it powered off, and charge at room temperature. Then press the battery's power button once, press again and hold for two seconds.

Power on correctly
The Mavic 3 Classic battery uses a two-step press: press once, then press again and hold for two seconds. One short press only shows the battery level. Remember to take off the storage cover before powering on.
Battery not charging
- Charge with the drone off. DJI's method is to attach the aircraft, with the battery installed and powered off, to the charger with the charging cable.
- Use enough power. DJI quotes about 1 hour 36 minutes for a full charge with the DJI 65W Portable Charger. Low-power phone chargers may not charge it at all.
- Wake a hibernating battery. If the battery sits below 5% for six hours, it hibernates and its LEDs won't light when you press the button. New batteries also ship in hibernation. Connecting the charger wakes it.
- Check the temperature. Charging stops if the cells are outside 5° to 40° C (41° to 104° F). DJI says not to charge right after a flight; wait for it to cool to room temperature.
- Read the protection LEDs. While charging, LED2 blinking means overcurrent or a short circuit, LED4 means the charging temperature is too low or too high. Unplug and replug the charger to resume after an electrical fault. Temperature faults clear when the battery warms or cools.
The battery is full when all its LEDs turn off on the charger.
Charging hub not charging
The Mavic 3 Series 100W Battery Charging Hub charges up to three batteries in sequence, starting with the one with the most power. With the DJI 100W USB-C Power Adapter, each battery takes about 1 hour 10 minutes. If nothing charges, reseat the batteries, check the charger is plugged in firmly, and make sure the room is between 5° and 40° C.
DJI RC or RC-N1 won't turn on
Charge over USB-C. DJI says the DJI RC charges in about 1 hour 30 minutes with a 5V/3A charger, and the RC-N1 takes about four hours with the provided charger. Then press once, and press again and hold. See DJI controller won't turn on.
Batteries left unused
Charge each battery fully at least once every three months. DJI's manual says a battery not charged or discharged for three months or more is no longer covered by warranty. DJI also says to dispose of a battery that can't be powered on after over-discharging.
When it's not the battery
If a charged, known-good Mavic 3 battery won't start the drone, the aircraft needs service. Retire any battery that's swollen, cracked or hot at rest: see swollen drone battery. Then start a repair. For general charging help, read DJI battery not charging.
