DJI Mini 4 Pro QuickTransfer usually fails for one of three reasons: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or location is off (or blocked for DJI Fly) on the phone, you skipped the first-time confirmation on the drone's power button, or you're trying it from the DJI RC 2, which doesn't support it. Fix those and the phone connects directly to the drone in a few seconds.

Connect the right way
Phone only (no controller):
- Power on the Mini 4 Pro and wait for its self-check to finish.
- Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on the phone.
- Open DJI Fly. A prompt to connect appears. Tap Connect.
- First time only: press and hold the drone's power button for two seconds to confirm.
Phone on the RC-N2:
- Keep the drone connected through the controller, motors off.
- Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on the phone.
- In DJI Fly, open playback and tap the QuickTransfer icon in the upper right.
Not working on iPhone
- Location and Bluetooth permission. DJI requires location services as well as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. In iOS Settings, find DJI Fly and allow Location and Bluetooth. Also turn on Local Network access for DJI Fly if iOS asks.
- Don't join from Wi-Fi settings. DJI says you don't need to enter a Wi-Fi password in the phone's settings. Let DJI Fly connect. If iOS has saved the drone's network, forget it and try again from the app.
- VPNs. Turn off any VPN while transferring. It can interfere with local Wi-Fi connections.
Not working on Android
- Allow DJI Fly location and nearby devices permissions.
- Turn off any setting that switches Wi-Fi to mobile data when there's no internet, since the drone's Wi-Fi has no internet.
Using the DJI RC 2?
DJI's manual states plainly that the DJI RC 2 does not support QuickTransfer. The RC 2 can download at up to 10 MB/s over the normal link, but for fast phone transfers, install DJI Fly on your phone and connect it straight to the drone.
Slow downloads
DJI rates QuickTransfer at up to 30 MB/s with a Wi-Fi 5 phone on 5.8 GHz. If your phone doesn't support 5.8 GHz, or there's heavy interference, it drops to 2.4 GHz and 6 MB/s. DJI says to stay close with nothing in between and away from routers, Bluetooth speakers and headphones. Big 4K/100fps clips take time even at full speed.
Other ways to get your files
Pull the microSD card and use a card reader, or connect the drone to a computer with a USB-C cable. See how to transfer Mini 4 Pro footage. If QuickTransfer still won't connect after a restart and a DJI Fly and firmware update, read the general DJI QuickTransfer troubleshooting guide or Mini 4 Pro not connecting.
