To transfer DJI Mini 4 Pro photos and videos to your phone, use QuickTransfer: power on the drone, turn on your phone's Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and location, open DJI Fly and tap Connect when the prompt appears. The first time, hold the drone's power button for two seconds to confirm. DJI rates it at up to 30 MB/s. For full flights, plug the drone into a computer with a USB-C data cable; DJI says it doesn't need to be powered on.

QuickTransfer without the controller
From DJI's Mini 4 Pro manual (Method 1):
- Power on the drone and wait for the self-check to finish.
- On your phone, turn on Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and location services.
- Open DJI Fly. A prompt to connect to the aircraft appears. Tap Connect.
- First time only: press and hold the drone's power button for two seconds.
- Browse and download. No Wi-Fi password needed.
QuickTransfer with the RC-N2 or RC-N3
If your phone is already in the controller (Method 2):
- Make sure the motors are off.
- Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on the phone.
- In DJI Fly, open playback and tap the QuickTransfer icon at the top right to download at high speed.
DJI RC 2 owners: DJI says the RC 2 doesn't support QuickTransfer. Use Method 1 with your phone.
Speed
Up to 30 MB/s on 5.8 GHz with no interference. If your phone or location can't use 5.8 GHz, or there's heavy interference, it switches to 2.4 GHz at up to 6 MB/s. Keep the phone close to the drone and away from routers, Bluetooth speakers and headphones.
Copy to a computer
- USB-C cable: connect the drone to the computer with a data cable and copy from the microSD card or the 2 GB internal storage. The drone doesn't need to be on.
- Card reader: power off, remove the microSD card and use a reader. Never pull the card while recording.
Mini 4 Pro won't QuickTransfer? Try these
- Turn on location services. DJI requires Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and location.
- Let the self-check finish before opening DJI Fly.
- Motors off for Method 2.
- Restart DJI Fly and the drone.
- Move away from interference such as routers and wireless headphones.
- Update DJI Fly and firmware: Mini 4 Pro firmware update.
- On the RC 2? Use your phone instead.
More fixes: Mini 4 Pro QuickTransfer not working and DJI QuickTransfer not working.
Connect the Mini 4 Pro to your phone to fly
QuickTransfer is only for files. To fly, connect your phone to the RC-N2 or RC-N3 with the Lightning or USB-C cable and open DJI Fly, or use a DJI RC 2. The Mini 4 Pro can't be flown from a phone alone. See Mini 4 Pro app.
Where files are stored
Set the storage location under settings, Camera > Storage: microSD card or internal storage. With no card inserted, files go to the 2 GB internal storage, which fills fast with 4K. See Mini 4 Pro SD card.
