For most people the Fly More Combo with the DJI RC 2 is the Mini 5 Pro bundle to buy: three batteries, the Two-Way Charging Hub, ND filters, a shoulder bag and a screen controller, for $1,209 at our store. The standard kit ($835) suits you if you already own spare gear or want to start small. The Fly More Combo Plus swaps in three Battery Plus packs for 52-minute rated flights, but the drone then weighs over 250 g and needs FAA registration.

DJI didn't officially launch the Mini 5 Pro in the US, so kits reach US dealers through other channels and stock varies. Contents can differ by source; check the listing before you buy. Background in Mini 5 Pro in the US. Be careful with "bundle deal" listings far below normal prices on marketplaces; that's a common scam pattern for scarce drones.
Fly More Combo vs Plus
- Fly More Combo: three standard batteries, about 108 rated minutes total, and the drone stays around 249.9 g. No FAA registration for recreational flying.
- Fly More Combo Plus: three Battery Plus packs, about 156 rated minutes total. DJI says the drone weighs over 249 g with the Plus; in Europe this kit's drone is C1-certified rather than C0. In the US, register it before flying for fun.
If you fly under Part 107, the drone must be registered anyway, so the Plus kit's extra flight time costs you nothing in paperwork. Details in Mini 5 Pro Battery Plus.
RC 2 or RC-N3?
The RC-N3 holds your phone as the screen. The DJI RC 2 has a bright 5.5-inch screen with DJI Fly built in, starts faster, keeps your phone free for calls, and supports Dynamic Home Point on the Mini 5 Pro. If you can stretch the budget, the RC 2 is worth it. See Mini 5 Pro controllers.
Standard kit plus add-ons?
Buying the standard kit and adding batteries, a hub, a bag and ND filters later usually costs more than the combo. It only makes sense if you already have some of those, or a compatible controller. "No combo" or drone-only options are covered in Mini 5 Pro drone only.
Which should you buy?
