The DJI Power 2000 stores 2048 Wh (about 2 kWh) in an LFP battery and puts out 3000 W continuously from its AC outlets. In practice that runs a laptop for about a day, a typical fridge for roughly half a day or more, or a 1500 W space heater for about an hour. To estimate your own run time, multiply 2048 Wh by about 0.85 and divide by your device's watts.

Key specs
| Spec | DJI Power 2000 |
|---|---|
| Capacity | 2048 Wh (2.048 kWh) |
| Battery chemistry | LFP (lithium iron phosphate) |
| Continuous AC output | 3000 W |
| AC outlets (US) | 4, 120 V, 25 A total |
| USB-C | 4: two at 140 W, two at 65 W |
| USB-A | 4, up to 24 W (one port in use) |
| SDC ports | 2, for chargers, drone cables, expansion |
| Cycle life | Over 80% capacity after 4000 cycles |
| Expandable to | 22,528 Wh with 10 expansion batteries |
| Weight | About 22 kg (48.5 lb) |
kW vs kWh: 3000 W (3 kW) is how much it can deliver at once. 2048 Wh (2.048 kWh) is how much energy it holds.
Ah and mAh
DJI rates the Power 2000 in watt-hours, not amp-hours. For reference, DJI lists its matching 2048 Wh Expansion Battery 2000 as 40 Ah. Comparing to phone power banks in mAh is misleading, because those are rated at a much lower cell voltage. Watt-hours are the number to compare.
How to estimate run time
Run time (hours) ≈ 2048 × 0.85 ÷ device watts
The 0.85 is a rule of thumb for inverter and conversion losses on AC loads. USB and DC loads lose less.
| Device | Typical draw | Approx. run time |
|---|---|---|
| Phone (charge) | 15 to 25 Wh per charge | 70+ charges |
| Laptop | 60 W | About 29 hours |
| LED lights | 100 W | About 17 hours |
| Full-size fridge | 100 to 200 W average | About 9 to 17 hours |
| CPAP (no humidifier) | 30 to 60 W | Several nights |
| TV and router | 300 W | About 6 hours |
| Microwave | 1000 W | About 1.7 hours |
| Space heater | 1500 W | About 1 hour |
These are estimates. Check the wattage label on your device, and for medical equipment, confirm with the maker before relying on any battery.
What it can run
DJI says the 3000 W output runs over 99% of household appliances, including induction cookers, microwaves and ovens. Multiple appliances can run together as long as the total stays under 3000 W. Big-motor loads like well pumps or central AC may be too much; check their starting draw.
For appliances that cycle on and off, like a fridge, press and hold the AC button so the indicator is solid. Otherwise AC output turns off after 30 minutes of no load. More in can it run a fridge or charge a Tesla.
Ports in detail
- USB-C: the two left ports give 140 W to PD 3.1 devices with an EPR cable. A regular cable limits a laptop to 100 W.
- USB-A: up to 24 W with one port in use; 10 W each when two or more are used.
- SDC: 9 to 28 V output, up to 12 A, for DJI drone fast-charge cables (Matrice 4, Mavic 3, Air 3, Matrice 30 and Inspire 3 series), a 12 V car-socket cable and an XT60 cable for hobby balance chargers.
