For photos, switch to Photo and press the same button. On the DJI RC 2, press the Record button for video and the Focus/Shutter button for photos. You can always tap the on-screen shutter too.

| Burst | 12 MP: 3/5/7 frames; 48 MP: 3 frames |
| AEB | 12 MP: 3/5/7 frames; 48 MP: 3 frames, 0.7 EV steps |

Vertical shooting
Tap the Landscape/Portrait switch in DJI Fly (or press the RC-N2's customizable button twice) and the gimbal turns the camera 90 degrees for full-resolution vertical video. More in Mini 4 Pro vertical.
Shots that record themselves
- MasterShots: select a subject and the drone flies a series of moves while recording.
- QuickShots: Dronie, Rocket, Circle, Helix, Boomerang and Asteroid.
- Hyperlapse: Free, Circle, Course Lock and Waypoint.
- FocusTrack (ActiveTrack, Spotlight, POI) follows subjects but doesn't record automatically. DJI says to start recording yourself. See Mini 4 Pro ActiveTrack.
Where files go
The Mini 4 Pro saves to a microSD card (UHS-I Speed Grade 3 or better) or, with no card, its 2 GB internal storage. Choose under settings, Camera > Storage. DJI's recommended cards are in Mini 4 Pro SD card. To download, see Mini 4 Pro transfer.
