Buy a DJI RS 4, RS 4 Mini or RS 4 Pro from an authorized DJI dealer, like us, or DJI's own store to get a genuine gimbal with US warranty. Camera retailers, Best Buy and Amazon are fine when the retailer or DJI is the seller. eBay has the lowest prices on used gimbals; check them carefully, because worn motors and missing plates are common. Existing RS 4 models are FCC-authorized and remain legal to sell and use in the US.
Pick the right model first
Most people searching for an "RS 4" deal actually need to choose between three gimbals:

Add up your camera body, lens, cage, mic and any monitor. Stay under the tested payload with some margin. A mirrorless camera with a light prime suits the RS 4 Mini; a full-frame body with a mid-size zoom suits the RS 4; cinema rigs and heavy zooms need the RS 4 Pro. Where to buy
Authorized dealer (us). Genuine DJI stock and help with balancing and setup. In-stock orders ship in 1 to 2 business days.
Camera stores and Best Buy. Fine when the store is the seller. Check whether it's the standard kit or a combo with extra accessories, such as the focus motor and transmission add-ons.
Amazon. Check "Sold by." Third-party sellers may ship imports without US warranty.
eBay. Good for used gimbals. Ask for photos of all quick-release plates and the grip.
What to check on a used RS gimbal
- Power it on and run auto-tune; listen for grinding or buzzing from the motors.
- Check that the automated axis locks engage and release on the RS 4 and RS 4 Pro.
- Confirm the quick-release plates are included; replacements add cost.
- Ask how old the battery grip is and how long it lasts.
- Make sure it activates in the Ronin app under your account.
