The DJI Mini 4 Pro uses the DJI Mini 4 Pro / Mini 3 Pro Propellers: 6.0 × 3.0 inch blades weighing about 0.9 g each, screwed onto the motors. Each pack has two pairs and 12 screws. To replace one, unscrew both blades on that motor with the screwdriver from the drone's box, then fit two new blades from the same pack: marked blades on the marked arm, unmarked on the unmarked arm. DJI makes one propeller type for the Mini 4 Pro, designed for lower noise.

Propeller specs
| Mini 4 Pro / Mini 3 Pro Propellers | |
|---|---|
| Size (diameter × pitch) | 6.0 × 3.0 in (152.4 × 76.2 mm) |
| Weight | about 0.9 g each |
| Mounting | 2 screws per blade |
| Pack contents | 2 pairs of propellers, 12 screws |
| Compatible drones | Mini 4 Pro, Mini 3 Pro |
The standard Mini 3 uses a different propeller (DJI's Mini 3 / Lito series props). Don't mix them.
Marked vs unmarked
The propellers spin in two directions, so DJI marks one type. Marked blades go on the motors of the marked arms; unmarked blades go on the unmarked arms. A blade on the wrong motor won't produce lift correctly and the drone won't fly safely.
How to replace Mini 4 Pro propellers
- Power off the drone.
- Use only the screwdriver from the drone's box. DJI says other screwdrivers can damage the screws.
- Remove both blades and their screws from the motor with the damaged prop. Discard them.
- Fit two new blades from the same package. DJI says not to mix props from different packs.
- Keep each screw vertical while tightening. Check the screws sit flush.
- Spin the props by hand to check for unusual resistance.
DJI calls propellers consumables. Check them before every flight for cracks, chips, warping, corrosion and loose screws, and replace them if you see any. DJI also says to check that the prop screws are tight after every 30 hours of flying, about 60 flights.
Quiet propellers and "upgrades"
DJI doesn't sell a separate low-noise or upgraded prop for the Mini 4 Pro. Its standard Mini 4 Pro / Mini 3 Pro props are already designed for lower noise and are dynamically balanced. DJI's manual says to use only official DJI propellers. Third-party "quiet" or "performance" props aren't tested by DJI and can change how the drone flies. For quieter flights, fly higher and smoother instead.
The propeller holder
The Mini 4 Pro box includes a propeller holder. It keeps the folded blades together when the drone is packed, so they don't bend or flap around in a bag. DJI recommends fitting the holder and gimbal protector whenever the drone isn't in use, and removing both before powering on.
When props aren't the problem
If a propeller looks fine but you see a motor or propulsion warning, read DJI motor and propeller error and Mini 4 Pro ESC error. For crash damage to arms or motors, see Mini 4 Pro repair.
Propeller guards
For indoor flying, the 360° Propeller Guard protects the props, with trade-offs. See do you need propeller guards. General tips for every DJI model are in how to change DJI propellers.
